Want to move to the 'burbs, but don't know which one?

                                         Believe me, you're not alone.

Boston's got a lot of suburbs.  Big, small, leafy, historic, trendy, on the water, bucollic, quiet--you name it.  Do you buy for the schools or where you get the most house for the money?  When you're finally ready to move out of that condo in Brookline or Cambridge how do you even start to figure out what town might be right for you?  Here are a few suggestions:

  • Follow the friends.  Chances are you're not the first among your group to head out of town.  Are your friends happy with the areas they've chosen?
  • Know thyself.  Just because you've made the decision to move doesn't mean you'll automatically be ready for a different lifestyle.  If you know you need to walk to Starbucks before your motor even thinks about running in the morning, you probably don't want to be all that far outside Rte. 95.  Stick to Wellesley or Lexington.   Don't eat if there's no take out?  Same thing.  But if you love kayaking and taking your dog on the off-leash trails, many of the Metrowest suburbs are going to be great.
  • Find an agent you trust and start driving.

I specialize in helping buyers figure out what towns and neighborhoods will give fit them best. Are schools your priority? Need to know what the commute will really be like? Want to know which towns in Metrowest hold their resale value best?  You can get some of the answers from community profiles, but talking to someone who really knows makes all the difference.  Email, call or text me, and we'll get started!

The sellers will have professional representation…will you?

Anne Hollows is an Accredited Buyer Representative ( ABR)

One of my specialties is representing the interests of  buyers throughout the home buying process. Didn't know you needed an agent when you're a buyer?  Agents work with buyers all the time to make sure they can work and negotiate on an equal footing with sellers.  Buyer agent services are FREE and they ensure you have access to the same pricing, geographic, inspection and negotiation information as the people you're buying from.  Buyer agents can save you time and money, as well as make the experience more enjoyable and less stressful, by walking you comfortably through every step of the search, offer, documentation and closing processes.

Why not take advantage of my experience as a local buyer agent for Sudbury, Wayland, Wellesley, Acton, Lincoln, Weston, Maynard, Framingham, Natick to help you make the most informed decisions you can, every step of the way?
